About Me
My Journey of Faith and Storytelling
Hello and welcome! I’m so glad you're here. My journey to becoming a children's author has been full of twists and turns, and I’m excited to share a bit of it with you.
I was born again as a child on April Fools’ Day (oh, the irony). Growing up, I faced an adverse childhood with neglectful parents, which led me down a path that distanced me from God for many years. I spent most of my adult life as an atheist, convinced that Christians were evil, or at least ignorant. But everything changed 2.5 years ago when I encountered God in a powerful way, and my life was transformed.
My husband, who was raised in a loving Christian family, had been praying for me all these years, and I’m forever grateful for his steady faith and unwavering love. He continues to be an incredible support as we build our life together.
I studied child development and education at UC Berkeley, which deepened my passion for helping children grow, learn, and understand the world around them. This background, combined with my love for faith, has led me to become a kids' ministry teacher at my local church, where I find great joy in sharing Biblical truths with young hearts.
I believe that children need access to engaging stories grounded in a Biblical worldview. Stories have a unique power to shape young minds, helping them see the beauty of God's creation and understand His love for them. My books aim to nurture their faith, encourage their imagination, and help them grow in a love for God.
While I don’t have children of my own yet, my husband and I are eagerly anticipating the adventure of parenting. Until then, I’m grateful for the opportunity to speak into the lives of children through my writing. Thank you for being part of this journey with me! Feel free to reach out if you’d like to connect—I’d love to hear from you.
